E-mail Print (3) Comments Text size Share Buzz up!Jon and Kate Gosselin may be heading for splitsville, but even a divorce wouldn’t squash their lucrative reality TV show careers.

New York Reality TV School founder Robert Galinksy - who is coming to the Hub next week - says a divorce has the makings of the “perfect spinoff.”

“You get two-for-one here,” says Galinsky, who has trained the likes of Angel Chang of Bravo TV’s “The Fashion Show” and Jorge Bendersky of Animal Planet’s “Groomer Has It.”

Both Jon and Kate have been accused of cheating - and the couple couldn’t hide their contempt for each other during Monday night’s ratings-bonanza, season five premiere of TLC’s “Jon & Kate Plus 8.”

Should the couple part ways, Galinsky says smart producers would follow Jon on his journey - and Kate on hers - and watch how the kids adapt.

“This is not sheer entertainment anymore,” he said. “It’s sort of a sociological, almost a documentary, at this point.”

“If it’s done tastefully, it could be a great experience for us to watch,” Galinsky added.

His advice for the duo?

“Continue to be completely honest and let us watch the true nature of a relationship as it evolves,” Galinksy said. “They can’t hide from the cameras.”

Galinsky started his reality TV school last June, and he also works with reality TV show vets, such as Trends from VH1’s “I Love New York.”

A few months after launching his school, Galinsky realized there was an opportunity to bring his training techniques into the corporate arena.

On Monday, Galinsky plans to host a seminar for Women@Thomson Reuters in Boston to work on improving their public presentation skills.

“When somebody does really well on a show, they’re building fans. Fans are basically customers,” Galinksy said. “It’s the same thing in the corporate arena.”

The union representating local TV photographers, editors and technicians has filed a grievance and unfair labor practice charge over the deal struck by WBZ-TV (Ch. 4) and WFXT-TV (Ch. 25) to share video and a helicopter.

In an e-mail to shop members, Andy Dubrovsky of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1228 said the union believes the stations have violated the National Labor Relations Act by entering into the deal without bargaining it with the union first.

Dubrovsky said last night that he believes the video sharing will result in layoffs. The union represents about 70 Channel 4 workers and is negotiating to represent about 100 at Fox 25. A WBZ spokeswoman declined comment. A Fox 25 spokeswoman couldn’t be reached for comment last night.

Kate Gosselin to Release Love Is in the Mix Cookbook
Wednesday May 27, 2009

Kate Gosselin attends a signing for her books "Eight Little Faces" and "Multiple Bles8ings" at Barnes & Noble at the Americana April 14, 2009 in Glendale, CA.
David Livingston/Getty Images CelebNews@Usmagazine.com! - Kate Gosselin to Release Love Is in the Mix Cookbook ShareThisKate Gosselin has plenty on her plate, but that isn't stopping her from publishing a new cookbook.

Her third book, Love Is in the Mix: Making Meals into Memories, is due to hit stores Oct. 13, 2009, according to Amazon.com.

See Jon and Kate Gosselin through the years.

The Jon & Kate Plus 8 star is already the author of Multiple Bles8ings: Surviving to Thriving with Twins and Sextuplets and the recently released Eight Little Faces, for which she has recently traveled the nation to promote.

"Fans ... won’t want to miss this inside look at one of America’s most famous close-knit families," the back cover states.

In addition to offering nutritious recipes and tips on eating organically, Love Is in the Mix promises to teach readers "how to craft family traditions that create happy memories" and "how to feed a large family on a budget." The book will include family photos and anecdotes about her twins and sextuplets.

According to the site, Kate will also offer insight into handling picky eaters, making lunchtime fun, planning meals for vacations, and making ordinary days "extra special."

Although excerpts from the book have not yet been released, commenters have already begun slamming the star's previously released recipes and claim she stole them "from product boxes and magazine articles."

One person wrote that her recipe for the cereal treat Monkey Munch -- which was mentioned on the TLC show -- is the same as one on the Chex brand website and calls it "plagiarism."

Other commenters were shocked that the woman who once said that "real cooks don't need recipes" was qualified to write a cookbook. They wrote on Amazon.com that on the show, Kate does little to "no cooking, no meals, just snacks -- crackers, yogurt, grapes, cukes and peppers in pita. The woman can't cook."

Still, with Kate's previous two books reaching the New York Times Best Seller list, the book's publishers are likely expecting similar success with Love Is in the Mix. In addition to her income from book sales, the newest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands today, reports that the Gosselins -- who live in a $1.1 million house -- earn approximately $50,000 to $75,000 per show.

A lighter side of cooking

Kate Gosselin Cookbook
LOS ANGELES, CA., May 28 (TOTI) --

Kate Gosselin has been in the news a lot lately. Mostly it's been about her being vindictive and manipulative and how she and her husband Jon are near divorce. Today the news is a bit more fun for Kate.

Kate, who stars in Jon and Kate Plus Eight is putting out her very own cookbook.

Kate Gosselin is no stranger to book tours. She is on right now. She's the author of Multiple Bles8ings: Surviving to Thriving with Twins and Sextuplets and Eight Little Faces, which she is pushing currently.

But Kate is a lady with great ambitions, and sharing her recipes is one of them.

Inside the book you can examine these claims.

How to craft family traditions that create happy memories

How to feed a large family on a budget

Fans won't want to miss this inside look at one of Americas most famous close-knit families

Kate's New cookbook controversy

If the upcoming 40 episode season of Jon & Kate Plus Eight isn't enough to fill your Gosselin needs, then fear not, because now they can invade your kitchen as well as your living room.

And Kate Gosselin puts more money in her pocket!

The "struggling" wife and mother has not let the recent downward spiral of her personal life conflict with the business end. It was just announced that come this October, a third book in the Gosselin franchise will be released. This time, it's a cookbook called Love Is in the Mix: Making Meals into Memories and it's filled with recipes to feed a herd of little ones.

While no excerpts have been released, plenty of people are taking time out to slam the book for plagiarism, stating that most of her ideas are recipes found on any soup can or box. And, of course, people also had to throw their two cents in about the author, deeming her unfit to write a cookbook when she "can't cook."

She has to be feeding them something, otherwise those kids would be all dead! And, please, like a woman with a herd of that many kids has time to experiment in the kitchen. No!

But she is no fool. She knows people will buy crap simply because it has her kids' faces on it.

It's called good marketing, bbs!

Jon Gosselin Steps out with Friends From people

As speculation about the future of Jon and Kate Gosselin's troubled marriage grows, one thing is for sure: they spent the Memorial Day holiday far apart.

While Kate reportedly took the eight on a boat ride in North Carolina this week, Jon was spotted at an upstate New York bar with two women. Several witnesses at 26 Front Street bar in the Hudson River town of Newburgh tell PEOPLE that Jon stopped in with two friends Monday afternoon – a woman who appeared to be in her mid-20s and another who looked to be older.

"They came in, approached the bar, got some drinks and then stood off on their own by a railing," says a bouncer who checked Jon's ID. "They were laughing and talking and they all left together."

The bouncer says Jon and the younger woman, "were standing close at one point ... but there was not any PDA that I noticed." Jon's trip to the bar was first reported on TMZ.com.

Manager Robb Tanczos says Jon drank Miller Lite. "I didn't see any kissing, touching, caressing or anything like that," he says. "They just kind of chilled."

Both Jon and Kate have denied reports they have been unfaithful to one another.

Sources say Jon and his two friends spent about 40 minutes in the outdoor area of the Newburgh bar and left after it appeared people began noticing they were there.

"People tried taking cell phone pictures and they turned around to face the railing and kind of spread out so they weren't standing so close," says the bouncer.

"I think once people recognized him they left," adds Tanczos.

The trio also stopped into another restaurant nearby, Torches on the Hudson, for some food and drink that afternoon.

"Jon looked really relaxed and was talking to people," general manager Damien Brady tells PEOPLE. "One of the waitresses asked for an autograph and he gave it to her."

Headed for Divorce Court

Jon and Kate are both talking to high powered lawyers, and it has been said if they are getting a divorce Kate wants it to be done by July 15th according to reports from comcast.net.

Woman Linked to Jon Gosselin Says She's Devastated by the Lies

Deanna Hummel says she is sickened by the reports circulating about her relationship with Jon Gosselin.

This week, she came forward to say she's just friends with the star of TLC's Jon & Kate Plus Eight. Now Hummel, 23, is fighting back against her brother Jason and his claims that she really is having a fling with the married father of twin daughters and sextuplets.

"My brother is making this all up," Hummel tells PEOPLE. "He has no credibility ... I can't even stomach the lies he's saying about me."

Hummel continues to deny any sort of romantic relationship with Gosselin, and the elementary school teacher admits that there's been bad blood between her and her brother for a while now. "My brother is very shady," says Hummel. "He has no job. He has a criminal background. He was charged for drug distribution. He's on probation right now."

And though the siblings live together, she says she was in the process of buying their home – and asking him to move out. "He wanted to get back at me ... he knows he's getting kicked out of the house."

Among what Jason Hummel, 28, claims is he overheard his sister having sex with the married reality star. A claim Hummel says "is completely crazy!"

She adds: "I'm so hurt that he put my occupation out there. He has put my job in jeopardy. I can't take my kids to recess without worrying that people will come up and harass me and the other teachers. It's not fair."

No Going Back Now

Jon & Kate Mom: "There's Really Never Any Going Back"
Wednesday May 6, 2009

Amy Sussman/WireImage for Discovery Communications CelebNews@Usmagazine.com! - Jon & Kate Mom: "There's Really Never Any Going Back" ShareThisOne week after Us Weekly first broke the news that Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad Jon Gosselin was caught with another woman, his wife, Kate Gosselin, opens up about her husband.

"It's one of those things that we're just handling privately," Kate said on Wednesday's taping of The Rachael Ray Show. "We're just taking it one step at a time and I'm trying to walk through it."

Look back at Jon and Kate through the years.

She added: "The focus remains on our kids. It has always been there and will continue to be there. One day at a time, like we've always done. One hour at a time, one minute at a time, and my life's been like that."

Her interview with Rachael Ray -- which will air on Tuesday -- came the same day Us Weekly's current issue (on newsstands now) revealed that five people close to the situation confirmed that Jon, 32, has been having an affair with third-grade school teacher Deanna Hummel.

"It's definitely another learning experience," Kate said about the recent media attention. "I look at life through the eyes of my kids in that I've always said life experiences... I feel like you can learn something from every situation and I am absolutely learning a lot from this."

After Jon and Deanna met in mid-January at Chill Lounge in Reading, Pennsylvania (they sent each other $3 shots), Deanna's brother Jason Hummel told Us that Jon -- who has twins, 8, and sextuplets, 5 -- began relentlessly pursuing his sister. By mid-February, he was coming over to their Reading house.

See the ugliest Hollywood splits of all time.

(At the Hummel house, Jason says Deanna and Jon would "pretty much stay locked away like two teenagers. It was weird. He's a grown man.")

Kate said that she didn't see it coming.

"Certainly none of this could have been predicted," she said. "Now going into our fifth season, we have stepped back and realized that it is part of this process, and I always say there's really never any going back. We just need to go forward. That is my new saying -- just keep on marching through this. Just doing what we need to."

Instead of focusing on the news -- which includes Jon and Deanna spending time together while Kate was traveling in late April -- of her husband's three-month long affair, she said she is putting her attention on her eight children.

"I know that I’m continuing on as I am the best mom I know how to be and that's really where my focus is," Kate said. "I really try not to let any of that stuff that comes with it get to me."

As for comments that Kate is combative (she once chastised her husband for breathing on their TLC reality show), she made no apologies.

"Just to put it out there, I am who I am," she said. "I do not care how you see me. Call me crazy, but it's out there because I am not perfect and I will never boast that I'm perfect. Everyone makes mistakes."

Jon & Kate Dad's Three-Month Affair Confirmed
Tuesday May 5, 2009

CelebNews@Usmagazine.com! - Jon & Kate Dad's Three-Month Affair Confirmed ShareThisIn the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands Wednesday), five people close to the situation - including two relatives of the other woman - confirm that Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad Jon Gosselin, 32, has been having an affair with third grade school teacher Deanna Hummel.

The most explosive blow-by-blow details are revealed by Deanna's older brother - and roommate - Jason, who tells Us Weekly that he is speaking out now to set the record straight and to protect his naive sister.

"She's a nice girl, not a homewrecker," Jason tells Us Weekly. "He is a bad liar. This isn't healthy for her. But she is refusing to help herself, so here I am trying to help her myself. I hope this clears the air."

Look back at Jon and Kate through the years

After Jon and Deanna met in mid-January at Chill Lounge in Reading, Pennsylvania (they sent each other $3 shots), Jason says Jon -- who has twins, 8, and sextuplets, 5 -- began relentlessly pursuing his sister. By mid-February, he was coming over to their Reading house.

On April 26 - while his wife Kate was traveling - Jon had Deanna over to sunbathe in his family's front lawn (see photo, left). This was just seven days after they had first been photographed together at Legends Lounge at 2 a.m. in pictures that show he is not wearing his wedding band.

At the Hummel house, Jason says Deanna and Jon would "pretty much stay locked away like two teenagers. It was weird. He's a grown man."

He also adds, "A lot of the time, it was pretty, um, gross listening to her, you know, um — how do I say this? The walls are thin. Let’s just say that. I mean, no one wants to hear his sister having sex, let alone with a married dude who's, like, almost twice her age and who has eight kids and a maybe-crazy wife. Ick. Nast."

Full Steam ahead for Jon and Kate

Doesn't look like they will be stopping anytime soon, Season 5 to kick off May 25th with Emeril joining them in the kitchen, going back to their roots, and many other suprises like dealing with the tabloid media frenzy over Jon's alleged cheating episode.
Kate was on the Today show this morning promoting the new book 8 Little Faces and she talked with Meredith about the show, the tabloid media and the fate of the show. She seemed very confident in Jon and not resentful of the media, she sees this as what happens when you are successful and it is your choice to buy the magazine or not, and to believe it or not, the juicier the story they more they pay for it, was a quote from her this morning. She said you will see how they deal with this in the show this season kind of a background type issue. Jon decided not to appear on the Today show with Kate and they both decided the kids wouldn't appear either. Jon did send a statement that was read on air.
According to her the show will go on......

People ExclusiveJon Gosselin's Mystery Woman Breaks Her Silence
By Liza Hamm

The woman who set blogs ablaze last week for stepping out with Jon Gosselin has come forward to say that there's absolutely nothing romantic going on between her and the married reality star of TLC's Jon & Kate Plus 8.

"We're just friends," Deanna Hummel, 23, tells PEOPLE exclusively. "It's absurd that anyone would think otherwise."

According to Hummel, she met Gosselin through a mutual pal a couple of months ago. Since then, the two have been hanging out – as part of a group of friends, not as couple. The social outings have included visits to each other's houses and nights out on the town, but always with others there, and it's always all innocent, according to Hummel.

"We just talk and socialize, the normal things you do when you see friends," says Hummel.

Hummel admits that the two did show up at Legends Bar in Reading, Pa., recently, but says a published photo of her driving Gosselin's car has been misinterpreted. "He just got this new car and I wanted to drive it. I'm into cars," she says. "We all have guy and girl friends. Because of who he is, it gets portrayed the wrong way, and it's unfair to him and his family."

She also adamantly denies that Gosselin called her "babe" while heading to his car. "He did not by any means call me 'babe,' " she says. "Nobody calls me babe. That made me laugh."

What she doesn't find funny, though, is being linked to a married man. "He's a very nice guy, don't get me wrong. But he's married with eight children," says Hummel, who is single. She adds that Gosselin "has a great family life. I would never ever think to pursue anything."

After reports broke last week that Gosselin had been spotted out late at night with a woman who is not his wife, he released a statement saying he'd shown "poor judgment."

"My family is the most important thing in my life and it kills me that these allegations have hurt them," he added.
